Timothy K. Gaspar Scholarship for Insurance

Timothy Gaspar is a Finance alumnus of the Nazarian Bollege of Business who has built a very successful insurance company based in Woodland Hills. This scholarship is to support students who are interested in pursuing a career in Risk Management and Insurance.

Applicants:

  • Must have an overall minimum GPA greater than or equal to 2.5.
  • Must be a freshman, sophomore or junior for the upcoming academic year in the Nazarian College of Business and Economics
  • Must be a declared business or economics major at time of application and during the award year.
  • Undergraduate students must be enrolled in 15 units or more during the award year.
  • Must have earned overall between 30 units (minimum) and 110 units (maximum) at the time of application.
  • Have completed at least one class in Insurance with the intent to pursue a career in the Insurance Industry.
  • Upload a copy of your official or unofficial transcripts.
  • Submit a brief personal essay.
  • Upload a copy of your student resume/CV.
  • Request one academic letter of recommendation via the my Matador Scholarships Portal
  • Request one academic or work related letter of recommendation via the my Matador Scholarships Portal
  • If selected for this scholarship, we ask that you save the date and attend the Nazarian College Scholarship and Awards Dinner on April 30th at the Odyssey in Granada Hills. At the awards dinner, you will be seated with the donor(s) who made your scholarship possible. This is an opportunity for you to connect with the donor(s), share the impact it has made on you and express your gratitude. You will be invited to bring up to two guests with you. Scholarship will be awarded in Fall 2020*.
