Parag Vaish Scholarship

The Parag Vaish Scholarship recognizes a sophomore or junior student majoring in one of the majors within the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics.

Applicants:

  • Have an overall minimum grade point average of 2.5.
  • Must be in sophomore or junior standing and enrolled in 12 units or more during the award year.
  • Must be a declared a business or economics major at time of application and during the award year.
  • Provide a brief personal essay.
  • Upload a copy of your student resume/CV.
  • Request one academic letter of recommendation.
  • Request one academic or work related letter of recommendation

  3. Please respond to the following prompt: Articulate the most powerful technology that will change the trajectory of the earth's energy consumption by humans over the next five years. Please explain the technology/innovation, the application of said technology to society, and why you think it will positively impact things like global warming, pollution, renewable resources, etc. The technology should not be currently considered mainstream, such as electric cars, solar capture, or wind power, rather it should be something that is in the nascent stages.

Please request: A letter of recommendation from a teacher, professor, counselor, community leader or coach- who can attest to your meritorious performance and personal strengths and can assess your potential for academic and career success.
