William J. Tamkin Scholarship Endowment
2026–2027 Academic Year Award
The William J. Tamkin Scholarship awards four $1,000 Scholarships to students majoring in Economics in the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be declared as an Economics major.
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Must have sophomore standing or higher during the 2026–2027 academic year (Sophomore, Junior, or Senior).
- Must demonstrate financial need.
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 units during the award term.
- Graduating seniors who will not be enrolled during the 2026–2027 academic year are not eligible.

How will this award help you financially achieve your academic goals? - DPR (Degree Progress Report).
- A letter of recommendation is not required but may be submitted.

Notification and Award Event
Award recipients will be notified via CSUN email in mid-April 2026. The recipient will be recognized at the Nazarian College Scholarship Dinner on April 30, 2026.
If you are receiving financial aid (including loans), your financial aid award(s) may be adjusted if you receive a scholarship that exceeds your total aid limit or Cost of Attendance (COA).
