The Susan and Raymond Tartakoff Kinesiology Scholarship
Spring 2026 Award
The Susan and Raymond Tartakoff Kinesiology Scholarship provides support to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the Department of Kinesiology who are working in the Center of Achievement and aspire to careers in adapted physical activity or physical rehabilitation.
This scholarship was established through a contribution from Susan and Raymond Tartakoff. It is the intention of the donors to provide financial assistance to Kinesiology students with strong potential to become leaders in the fields of health, fitness, and rehabilitation as they proceed into the adapted physical activity graduate program.
Susan and Raymond Tartakoff are long-time contributors to California State University, Northridge. This gift reflects their continued commitment to supporting students pursuing careers in health care and related fields.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be currently enrolled at CSUN.
- Must be enrolled in the Kinesiology program within the College of Health & Human Development.
- Must be a Junior or Senior undergraduate student, or enrolled in the graduate program at the time of application.
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Must demonstrate financial need.
- Must be working in the Center of Achievement.
Recipients will be selected by a committee comprised of Kinesiology faculty and Center of Achievement staff.
