Peggy Searight Memorial Scholarship

Spring 2027 Award

This scholarship has been established by the Jack R. Doehring Trust in loving memory of their
aunt, Peggy Searight. This scholarship consists of a single award of $1,000 during your time
enrolled as an EOH major.
About Peggy Searight
Peggy Searight was often considered the “angel” of the family. Her kindness and sweet nature
touched the lives of all who encountered her. She was a loving wife and an avid marathon runner.
Peggy worked for many years at an auto plant in Michigan and understood how important it is to
safeguard healthy working conditions for workers in all different types of workplaces. The Peggy
Searight Memorial Scholarship aims to support students looking to improve the world around them
and continue Peggy’s legacy of generosity to others.
