Glenn W. Arnett Scholarship Award
Spring 2026 Award
The Arnett Scholarship was made possible through a generous contribution from Mr. and Mrs. Elwood C. Davis in honor of Dr. Glenn Arnett, a former faculty member and Chair in Kinesiology at CSUN. Dr. Arnett taught at CSUN until his retirement and made significant contributions to the field of Kinesiology.
This scholarship supports students who earned an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from CSUN and are pursuing a graduate degree in Kinesiology. The intent of the donors is to provide financial assistance to students with outstanding potential who aspire to careers in the field of Kinesiology as they progress through the graduate program.
Award Amount
One scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded to support students enrolled in the Kinesiology graduate program.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduated from CSUN with a baccalaureate degree in Kinesiology within the past two academic years (including current graduating seniors).
- Accepted to or currently enrolled in the Graduate School and the Master’s program in Kinesiology at CSUN.
If you are receiving financial aid (including loans), your financial aid award(s) may be adjusted if you receive a scholarship that exceeds your total aid limit or Cost of Attendance (COA). Speak with a financial aid counselor during walk-in hours for a detailed overview of your individual situation.
