Caring Cetera Diversity in Financial Planning Scholarship

Fall 2026 Award

The Caring Cetera Scholarship Fund will provide a scholarship of $5,000 for a student enrolled in the Financial Planning option within the Department of Finance, Financial Planning & Insurance in the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics.

Caring Cetera is committed to supporting collegiate students pursuing careers as financial planners and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the financial planning profession. Additional criteria used in the determination of recipients include demonstrated financial need and an intent to enroll in 15 units or more per semester during the award period. Preference will be given to students from historically underserved populations as defined by the University.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be enrolled in 15 units per semester.
  • Must have a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.8.
  • Must be a current Sophomore, Junior, or Senior.
  • Major must be Financial Planning or another approved DNCBE major.
  • Must demonstrate financial need.

Additional Requirement

A thank-you / gratitude video will be requested by the Nazarian College of Business for donor recognition purposes. Additional instructions will be provided to the selected recipient.
