Information Technology (IT) Outstanding Student Award

The Information Technology (IT) Outstanding Student Award recognizes two (2) students employed in the IT Division who demonstrate outstanding service. Each recipient will receive a $100 award.

A recognition ceremony and award distribution will be held in May 2026 in person and via Zoom.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be currently employed in the IT Division during the Spring 2026 term.
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• Undergraduate students must enroll in at least 6 units during the Spring 2026 term.
• Graduate students must enroll in at least 6 units during the Spring 2026 term.
• Must maintain the required enrollment for the applicable term. Any reduction below the minimum unit requirement may result in cancellation of the award.

Application Requirements

• Must request a letter of recommendation from your supervisor through the myMatador Scholarships portal.
