Outstanding Graduating Senior Award
2024-2025 Academic Year Award
Each year four graduating seniors are presented with the Outstanding Graduating Senior Award in recognition of academic excellence, contributions to campus and community, and exceptional achievements or personal life circumstances that have been overcome.
These $2,000 awards are sponsored by the University Foundation.
Each recipient will be recognized at the annual Honors Convocation ceremony at 6:00pm on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be an undergraduate graduating senior ( Fall 2024, Spring 2025, or Summer 2025 ).
- Applicants must have completed an online Graduation Application with an intended graduation date on file with the Office of the Registrar and or completed their undergraduate degree during the on file for Fall 2024, Spring 2025, or Summer 2025 semester at CSUN.
*Applicants enrolled in credential or certificate programs will not be considered. - Students of all disciplines are welcome and encouraged to apply.
- Applicants must have a minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0 OR a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 units.
- Students must complete this application form, including a Statement of Qualifications.
- Two required letters of recommendation must be submitted by faculty, staff, or administrators via the myMatador Scholarships Portal.
*At least one of the recommendations must be from a member of the Cal State Northridge faculty.
