La Raza Alumni Chapter Scholarship
2025-2026 Academic Year
The purpose of La Raza Alumni Association (LRAA) Scholarships is to support CSUN students’ educational endeavors. LRAA is focused on uplifting CSUN students that are actively invloced and engaged in providing meaningful service in the Chicanx/Latinx community. CSUN students that are undocumented and/or DACA students are encouraged to apply. Selected scholarship finalists will be invited to interview with the review committee.
Please note: Any change to your enrollment status resulting in less than required enrollment for any term within the award year will result in a cancellation of your award.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Open to continuing students (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate) enrolled at CSUN with at least 6 units in Fall 2025 and Spring 2026.
- Open to all Majors.
- Recipients must enroll in 6 units or more during the award academic year.
- Applicants GPA must be in good academic standing. (2.0 Cumulative Undergraduates, 3.0 Cumulative Graduates)
- Must upload a copy of a current DPR.
- (Optional) One letter of recommendation from a Community Leader
CSUN students that are undocumented and/or DACA students are encouraged to apply.
Chapter scholarships can ONLY be awarded to incoming/returning CSUN students. Students who are graduating and DO NOT plan on returning in an academic capacity in the term the funds are awarded, are NOT ELIGIBLE to receive a scholarship. Student must be enrolled part-time during the awarding semesters.
