Judge Julian Beck Scholarship (CHHD)

Spring 2024: 2023-2024 Academic Year Award

This scholarship provides financial assistance to students pursing a Bachelor of Science degree in any Health Sciences programs at CSUN. Recipients are based upon demonstration of commitment to professional growth and service, leadership, positive and professional attitude, and, where applicable, outstanding clinical potential.

This scholarship is made possible by a generous contribution from the Judge Julian Beck Health Sciences Endowment established in 1984. It is the intention of the donor to provide financial assistance to an outstanding senior each year.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be undergraduate students in senior standing at CSUN graduating at the end of the Fall 2023 term or Spring 2024 term.
• Must have completed 90+ units or more to qualify for this award.
• Must be a Health Sciences (Health Administration, Public Health, or Radiologic Sciences) major
• Must have a cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.25 in upper division coursework in the major.
• Must be enrolled in 3 units or more at CSUN.
• Request one letter of recommendation via the myMatador Scholarships Portal.
• Submit a copy of current Degree Progress Report (DPR)
• Submit a copy of your most recent unofficial transcripts.

• Fall graduates within the same academic year are eligible to apply. (e.g. Awards can be issued to those who are planning to graduate at the end of Fall 2023 term)*.
