Asian American Studies: Asuncion Castro Abarquez and Rosalinda Abarquez & Alcantara Endowment

Spring 2024: 2023-2024 Academic Year Award

This is an annual prize for an Outstanding Essay by a student in Asian American Studies at CSUN. The winner will receive a cash prize in the amount of $1,000.

At the discretion of the donor, the winning essay(s) may be published in Prosy de la Cruz’s column in the Asian Journal “Rhizomes.”
  • Essays may be based on coursework in CSUN Asian American Studies courses.
