Nazarian College Scholarships

2024-2025 Academic Year Award

The Nazarian College Scholarships will recognize students of excellence, both in terms of life experiences and academics, in the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics.


The College has one application that will apply to the following scholarships:

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must have declared a business or economics major at time of application and during the award year.
  • Must have a GPA greater than or equal to a 2.20.
  • Full-time enrollment for undergraduate students is considered to be 15 units (12 units for financial aid and certain external legal requirements).
    Any change to your enrollment status resulting in less than full time enrollment for any term within the award year will result in a cancellation of your award.
  • Must provide a transcript of academic work (unofficial transcripts are acceptable).
  • Must complete a required essay question (Maximum 300 words).
  • Must upload a student resume (maximum two pages, 12-point font, double spaced).


An award dinner will be held by the College for all the awardees on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024.

Essay: This essay should relate to a true story of a valuable life experience (e.g., an important event in your life, a difficulty you had to face, a hard choice you were required to make, etc.) It should describe what you learned from the experience, and how the experience has helped you to become a better person. Please also explain how the scholarship will help you be successful in college.
  20. Resume upload: This resume should describe: a) educational experiences (e.g., high school and college) b) work experiences c) life experiences (the major part of your resume should describe your involvement in such things as volunteer activities, sports activities, STEM-related activities, travel experiences, hobbies, etc.)
  21. Upload: A most recent copy of your unofficial transcripts.
