Choksi Family Scholarship Endowment for Disability Resources and Educational Services
(Current Academic Year Opportunity) Spring 2021: The Choksi Family Scholarship Endowment for Disability Resources and Educational Services (DRES) provides annual scholarship awards for students with disabilities. Students must demonstrate financial need, scholastic achievement, exceptional leadership and community service involvement.
The recipients of the annual scholarship award and the amounts of the award will be determined by a committee established and coordinated by DRES. Students selected for the award are required to attend the Recognition Awards Ceremony where they will be recognized for their achievements.
The following information is also required for consideration:
- Must be registered with DRES and enrolled at California State University Northridge for the current academic school year.
- Must have completed a FAFSA or California Dream Act Application for the current academic year.
- Students must demonstrate financial need, scholastic achievement, exceptional leadership and community service involvement.
- Undergraduate students must enroll in 6 units or more during the Fall & Spring terms.
- Graduate students must enroll in 4 units or more during the Fall & Spring terms.
- Incoming freshmen students must have a High School GPA of 2.50 or higher
- Continuing undergraduate students must have a CSUN GPA of 2.50 or higher through the Fall term.
- Graduate students must have a GRAD CSUN GPA of 2.50 or higher through the Fall term.
- Three letters of recommendation must be submitted on the student’s behalf.
- All majors are welcome to apply.
- Awardees must be available to attend the Recognition Awards Ceremony on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 1 p.m.
Must be enrolled at CSUN for Fall and Spring semesters for the current academic year. Tseng College students and students enrolled in accelerated programs are eligible to apply.
