ABOUT THE CALIFORNIA HOMEBUILDING FOUNDATION
Our mission is to advance the homebuilding industry in California by providing scholarships, publishing innovative research findings, and promoting workforce education programs.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  1. The applicant must be enrolled in an approved institution of higher education, current status freshman, sophomore or junior, obtaining their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. (Scholarship funds may be used for tuition, fees, books, materials, housing and other unmet student needs.)
  2. The applicant must be enrolled in a building industry-related curriculum.
  3. The applicant has achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher. (and maintain said GPA during award year)
  4. The applicant must be a California resident with an objective of a future career within the California homebuilding industry.
  5. Awardee MUST attend the in person California Homebuilding Foundation’s Hall of Fame awards dinner on June 18, 2024, at The Westin Anaheim Resort, Anaheim, CA.

COMPLETED APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY MAY 3, 2024.
Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

  1. Complete and return the attached application.
  2. Applicant must submit a brief statement about themselves, including their educational and career intentions.
  3. Applicant must submit two letters of recommendation from adults: one teacher or professor within the last two years and an adult from work-related experience (other than a relative) who can offer professional references for the applicant.
  4. Applicant’s college transcript must accompany the application. (unofficial is acceptable)
  5. Applications must include a suitable self-portrait in a JPG or TIFF format at 300 DPI resolution or above. Submit the photo as a separate attachment.
